Meet the Kinsey Outfit

JK and Britney live on our rustic ranch 30 miles south of Wibaux, Montana or 25 Miles North of Baker, Montana on beautiful Cabin Creek.  Our facility includes a 100x200 foot arena, 50 foot round pen, soon to be erected 50x70 indoor facility, acres and acres of sage brush, native grasses, cactus, creeks, cut banks,  and cotton wood trees to ride through.  We also have a yearling operation to ride colts through and get the maximum training a horse can endure.  

 

JK Kinsey grew up around horses, cattle, and his first horse was a pony named “Rodeo”. Growing up, he started colts and later bought 3 year olds from reputable ranches to train and re-sell for a living.  JK graduated from Baker High School and attended Dawson Community College on a rodeo scholarship (calf rope, team rope, steer wrestle).  He received a degree in Agri-Business and later attended the Western College of Auctioneering and became the Montana State Champion Auctioneer in 1997 and has sold many horse sales since.

 

JK’s 12 year old daughter Britney is a good little hand on a horse and loves to ride her horse Pumpkin. She will help ride and gather bulls and wants to learn the ropes of the horse world.

 

 

 

Our latest projects are training our team of Belgians, “Cedar” and “Sage”, which we will be feeding with in the winters, hauling salt to the pastures in the summer, and bobsled rides in the winter snows.
